Reel Escape is a dimensional carved relief featuring a powerful marlin launching through the water, framed by a carved nautical rope border. The upward motion of the fish gives the sculpture a sense of energy and movement, while the rope border adds depth and reinforces the unmistakable connection to the sea.

Carved from mahogany and individually hand-finished, the sculpture combines the precision of CNC carving with hands-on finishing to bring out the character of the wood and the details of the relief. The varying depths create natural shadows across the marlin and surrounding elements, giving the piece a distinctly sculptural quality as the light changes throughout the day.
