Life Aquatic — Mahogany Ocean Scene Relief

Life Aquatic is a dimensional carved relief built around a classic porthole view into the underwater world. A sea turtle, seahorse, manta ray, and flowing seaweed come together in a layered scene that gives the piece a sense of depth and movement—as if you're looking through the wall and into the ocean beyond it.

Carved from mahogany and individually hand-finished, the sculpture combines the precision of CNC carving with the character that comes from working the piece by hand. The varying depths of the relief give the animals and surrounding details real dimension, while the natural grain of the mahogany adds warmth and texture throughout.
